How do I make sure the water temperature in my Laundry Center washer is correct?

Note: High Efficiency Laundry Centers have controls that supply cooler water as a means to save energy.

Water temperatures may seem cooler than traditional laundry centers.

Check that the hookups from the wall are attached to the correct inlet valve on your machine. There is an H for Hot and C for Cold embossed on the back of the unit for each hookups.

Check that you have selected the appropriate temperature setting for your load. Measure hot water temperature at the washer or at a nearby faucet with a thermometer. It should read at least 120°F. If it does not, adjust your water heater.
